Palais des Nations
The nations of of Palate (palate of the English nations) in Geneva
Switzerland were established between 1929 and 1938 like registered
offices of the league of the nations. Since the Fifties it was used as
house of the office of the United Nations in Geneva in spite of the
fact that the host country did not go well to a member of the
organization itself until 2002. The Palate whose construction is the object of competition is designed
to place all the bodies of the league of the nations in Geneva. It
should be conceived in order to make it possible these bodies to work
to chair and hold of the discussions independently and easily in the
calm atmosphere which should reign by dealing with problems of an
international dimension.
